I will always be a jeans girl, always, I wear them for all occasions, they are my go to as they're so easy to dress up and down I really want to try and ditch them a little bit, only slightly as the love affair with a great pair is strong and will never end but I want to be a bit more adventurous and vary what I wear on a day to day basis a little more, especially on a weekend. While my daily style is quite relaxed, I like the effortlessly cool vibe of Kate Moss etc, I do find a good outfit lifts my mood no matter how relaxed, basically I'm always on the look out for daily outfits that I can run around after two children in, easily run a million errands in but that will also look and make me feel good...firm believer in that forever ghost outfit.
Because of this, I've been adding lots to my favourite items which seems to be a long standing past time of mine, you all know that saved basket that is home to a 100+ items which you love, but the gas bill needs paying so it mainly remains there haunting you and I've just been buying the odd piece that I think will see me through to spring to mix it up a little on the outfit front, so here's some favourites, to help you out.
This midi jumper dress from ASOS is beautiful quality and a great wardrobe staple without mentioning the price is a steal, I originally ordered it in black what a surprise and love it so much so I have also ordered it in the taupe colour as well, I'm sure it will be a regular you'll be spotting on my feed, I'm 5'4 and the petite length is perfect.

Also currently wearing these leather look leggings with everything at the moment as they're so versatile, boots and a nice top, oversized jumper and trainers they're working with most things, these are not the thickest pair I own but its January so again a cheap and cheerful wardrobe update.

I've had this midi skirt since Autumn and wear it as its styled in the photo for this season and will pop it on with a t-shirt and trainers once it starts warming up a little. Slight disclaimer though if you're pale like me because of the slit placement you need to keep up with a fake tan so I use this as an every day moisturiser to keep the casper look at bay.

And something that I've just spotted and popped in the saved items these satin leopard wide leg trousers will definitely see you through spring and beyond, I love leopard print but think the rust colour in these is an easier way to pull them off if you don't want to go so bold and they're currently in the sale and less than £20! Dress them up or down with a cool t-shirt and trainers or barely there heels.
