Good Morning Beautiful

August 27, 2018

Well I've heard that's what you're suppose to tell yourself every morning, with me deciding to write here more regular I thought first I would write about my daily morning skin care routine, this is one of the most asked questions I receive via direct message on Instagram so I figured it would be a good place to start.

Let's start with saying I've tried so many different lotions and potions over the years and although I've never really had problem skin as such, I do suffer from the usual black heads and occasional breakout which I like to keep at bay. Recently I've been using the Naturally Radiant range from Superdrug along with products from The Ordinary and Charlotte Tilbury. I have found myself that even though this range is on the lower price point they are beautiful products and mixed with my others my skin has never been better, even to the point where the monthly breakouts have stopped, which is a great thing in my eyes, so believe the social media hype.

So lets get down to the basic's, firstly I start with the Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser, you can find it here. I double cleanse (basically the "in" term of using the product twice) using the muslin cloth which comes with the product to make sure my skin is super clean. Afterwards I apply the Glycolic Tonic from the same range, you can find it here, basically adding the product to a cotton pad and wiping over my whole face and neck. Next it's time for The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 which you can find here, don't let the names of these products scare you the website is super helpful and the products are amazing and really purse friendly so its a win win all round, I add a few drops to my face and apply it all over, then brush my teeth while it soaks in.

Then I apply the Charlotte Tilbury, Charlotte's Magic Cream, yes this is on the higher price point at £70 and the cost may make your eyes water but I personally love this product and the pot lasts me around 6 months, I also find it a great base for make up and usually pop it on my Christmas wish list, plus I'm not getting any younger, you can find it here. Which leads me nicely on to my final product Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue, I am extremely paranoid about the dark circles under my eyes and this product does ease them, you can find it here, I gently pat a small amount around my eye area and I'm good to go, while this does seem a lot wrote down it takes next to no time each morning, along with drinking plenty of water and I don't personally wear foundation on a daily basis, I find it worth the effort for nice skin.

As always these thoughts are my own and links are affiliated, I'd love to hear about any skin saviours you love, products you can't live without that I can try in the future, leave me a comment to let me know and thank you for taking the time to read, I hope this has helped in some way to answer some of the questions I receive.

Love Faye x
